We may or may not be talking about the same Stella. My Mother has told me that she and her husband did appear well to do. My Dad was Stella's nephew, but she never had much to do with his family. I am trying to piece together the history of my Dad's family. His father was Walter, son of Ephraim, son of Malcomb. The birth date that I have for Stella is June of 1874. She and Asa Davis had six children that I know about: Ray, Bertha, Lucille, Easter (sp?), Lula, and Cecil. If these names are familiar, I would like to share information. Since my Dad's family did not keep many records of relatives and were not very close, I have had to start from scratch. Looking forward to hearing more from you, Dale >From: Joyce & Ed Thomas <ejthomas@i1.net> >Reply-To: ILMONTGO-L@rootsweb.com >To: ILMONTGO-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: [ILMONTGO] Davis Family >Date: Mon, 05 Jan 2004 20:18:37 -0600 > >Dale, I would have never guessed that was her full name.
