    3. The Knights of Pythias built homes and cared for the elderly and orphans - also children of members who were not able to care for them. My father, Josiah Matthew Hill and his twin Jesse Todd Hill, were raised in the home in Decatur, IL from about 1922 at the age of 8 till they were out of highschool. It was a beautiful home and was torn down sometime in the last 10 years. I would love to know if any records survived. It sounds like they were a very active and helpful group to society. Thanks for the help.
