Hello all I am searching for information on some property in Litchfield, IL that was sold by my family on November 25, 1921. I am searching information on the previous owner/owners. I was told that someone outside of the county courthouse needed to search this for me since I was out of state. Does anyone know how to do this? If so, I would appreciate your input. The deed index and record for Montgomery County appears to be available thru IRAD for that time: http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/departments/archives/irad/iradholdings.html I haven't requested deed records for Montgomery county, but the copies I received for Madison county list the buyer and seller. Call the ph# listed for the UIS depository to request the search, copies are typically 25 cents a pages, dollar minimum.
