Does anyone have information on Rufus Scherer,brother of John J (Jack )Scherer? He was a son of Dr. Eli Scherer. According to what I have he would have been born abt 1841 to Dr. Eli and Lavina Cress Scherer. Does anyone have a burial info or obit on him? In the 1850 census there was a D.R. Scherer living with Jacob Cress Sr which if this info is correct,would be his Grandfather. So D.R. Scherer or Rufus I believe is the same person. Any help on this anyone?
