ET, I always like to have a general idea where someone lives, so I don't say something stupid like assuming that you live in the area that you're asking about. I was born in Litchfield and finished high school there, so I have some knowledge of what has gone on there. I've lived all my adult life, until about 7 years ago, in St. Louis. When in St. Louis, we frequently drive up for dinner at the "Gardens", a well known restaurant in Litchfield...known for their Iowa cut Pork Chops. If you ever get up there again, be sure to stop at the Gardens. It is a National landmark on the "Old 66" route. Tiss

Unfortunately, the Gardens restaurant closed in October of 2003.
