I have a copy of the Confirmands Directory of St. Paul's Evangelical Church (later St. Paul's UCC) of Columbia, Monroe County, Illinois. It lists all the confirmands between 1855 and 1938 (about 2000 names). All the surnames are listed below. I have additional information from St. Paul's original records for some names. If you are interested in a common surname, please be sure to give me a first name and approximate date as well. I have made duplicate a post to the St. Clair County list because many of the confirmands were either born or later lived in St. Clair County. I have also posted this to the Hessen list, because many of the original church members emigrated from the Hesse-Darmstadt and Rheinhessen regions of Germany.
