Dear Monroe County Subscribers, I'm new to this list so I hope you can provide some help. I've been working on finding my (ALLIE) parents in the Cook and Kankakee County areas upstate Illinois. I also want to start to trace the lineage of my wife, Leslie REITZ from Waterloo. Her father was Roger Reitz b. 1922 d.1982. His father was Fredric REITZ and his mother was Leora REINHOLD. Fredric REITZ's father was Michael REITZ and his mother was Eva SCHMIDT. Leora REINHOLD's parents were Joseph REINHOLD b1858 Fults, IL and Magdelena KREBEL b. 1872 Fults.IL. Joseph REINHOLD's father was Peter REINHOLD immigrated to US in 1829 and his mother was Barbara FRITZ immiggrated to US in 1834. I don't have a lot of additional information on these families. I would like to link them with other members of their families. I would also like to know where they immigrated from in Germany and the exact town, date, ship and arrival port of their voyage.
