Main Waterloo, IL 62298 618-939-3814. Editor Jeff Egbert (if he's still there) is most helpful, although I don't think their office does research! The Waterloo Library has a good genie collection; Monroe County genie society and GenWeb is great source for queries. Microfilm of back copies of the paper are at the Waterloo library. The Times office (near the County Seat square) has the ORIGINALS going back to late 1800's, which have been microfilmed, bound in folders stacked in their basement (I'd love to see a University archive take those for safekeeping and preservation). Happy hunting. Marsha
