Can anyone give me the names and addresses of Catholic churches in Waterloo, particularly any that have been around since the 1860's? Thanks to Janet at MCGS, I now know that Peter Schmitt (Schmidt) married Elizabeth Rapp on February 13, 1862 in Waterloo. I called the Monroe County Clerk's Office but was told that marriage records back then did not list birth dates or any family information. I know they were married in a Catholic church and I thought may be church records might contain some additional information, like their parents' names, etc. I also believe their son (my grandfather) Jacob Schmitt would have been baptized there in 1872.
