    1. [ILMONROE-L] WAGNER & HUBER of Waterloo?
    2. John Crossley
    3. This is my first time... I am looking for the parents of Phillip WAGNER and Elizabeth HUBER. Phillip and Elizabeth were married 19 Sep 1858 at Maeystown. Over the next 24 years they had 9 children baptized at Waterloo. The pastor in Maeystown tells me that the church records that would contain their marriage have been lost. (Darn mice!) Also he mentioned that the church at that time was in Wartburg, which is considerably closer to Waterloo. I have the LDS civil records for Monroe County on order. They'll arrive a week from some Tuesday... I have found some candidates from the Federal Public Domain Land Sale database that the State of Illinois has online: <http://www.sos.state.il.us/depts/archives/data_lan.html> In April 1835 John Adam Wagner purchased 40 acres in 2S 9W, near Waterloo In December 1837 Valentine Huber purchased 40 acres in 3S 8W, near Hecker in 1837 Valentine Huber purchased 38 acres in 3S 7W, on the far east border of Monroe Co. I haven't yet ordered the microfilms for the land sale and probate records. Can anyone offer me some advice? Some data????
