The Rogers Reunion and Seminar will take place Saturday, September 4, 2004, from 9 a.m. to 5 pm at Peterstown House, Waterloo, Illinois. No charge for attending. Tentative Agenda: 4 Sep 04: a.. 9am - 10 am: Meet and Greet at Peterstown House. Coffee and Donuts provided. b.. 10 am-11:30 am: Presentation on Elder Peter Rogers and his descendants and ancestors by Stephen Rogers von Hitritz, PhD at Peterstown House c.. 11:30 am - 1 pm: Lunch Break, on your own d.. 1 pm - 2:30 pm: Walking tour of Old Waterloo Cemetery e.. 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm Masonic Lodge to view Sword Elder Peter Rogers purportedly took into battle with him during Revolutionary War f.. 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Morrison Talbott Library to view painting and other items belonging to the Burke and Rogers family g.. 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm: Wrap up at Peterstown House. Conclusion of reunion. The purpose of this get together is to exchange ideas, data and view Rogers and associated families' artifacts. For all potential attendees, please bring genealogical material, photos and associated documents with you on Sep 4 so that they can be shared. Elder Peter Rogers with 2 of his 3 wives had a total of 13 children; all but 2 reached adulthood.
