She was a Goodman before her marriage, and her family came from MO, around Rollo. Mom's sister, aunt Minnie, said that many years ago she and her husband met an uncle Burr in St. Louis while on vacation in that city - he was an attorney. The 1920 census for St. Louis lists a Burr S. Goodman, and I came across an article in the East St. Louis Journal (Sunday November 15, 1926) stating that a scout council was formed for Monroe County in a meeting at Waterloo, and that Burr S. Goodman (from Waterloo) was elected as Secretary for the new council. I wonder if they keep records of all the scout leaders, and if anything about this person is available. I thought that someone in the Scouts might be able to ask around your area for me if you could spare the time. Thanks, Bruce
