The Historical Society will host its annual BBQ-Pot Luck dinner on Sunday, June 26, at Belle Fontaine in Waterloo. Anyone interested in Monroe County IL history is invited. We will provide the meat and drink and there is no charge. If you would like to attend, please bring a covered dish and lawn chair(s). Historical impersonator Barbara Kay will appear as Betsy Ross. (She impersonated Mary Lincoln last year and did a great job.) Belle Fontaine house and grounds and Moore cemetery will be open for all to tour.
