Vonderheide family that lived in Monroe Co., New Athens area in 1870. We feel that Val and a brother Geo. immigrated to the US from Dormstadt abt. 1840. Val. mar. a young lady, Anna or Barbara - both on different census, and began his family with son b. in 1842.
