Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Hh.2ADE/231.1.1.1.2 Message Board Post: I have a original Baptismal Certificate for Anna Rittel who is the daugther of Amelia Catherine Ruebemeier that was baptised on 12/14/1890 in Zoar Church. By the time she made her Confirmation, they had moved to Missouri and lived in Sulphur Springs and when to Lucas Church. This was in 1905. I have not been able to find any information on her mother outside of the marriage record. Do not know if she died in Illinois or once they moved to Missouri. Also I have information on Anna's brother Friederick who was baptised in Zoar Church in 1886. At that time there were other Rittel's in the copy of records that I have. Let me know if you find anything else. Thanks

Says that the record is on file at Waterloo courthouse. Would like to go and get a copy someday. Does not say what church they were married in. Maybe the marriage record will tell. Found baptismal of son Frederick in Zoar Church in New Hanover born on 8/22/1886. Let me know if you find any other information. Thanks

Subject: HELMS in Monroe County FYI - the Waterloo library recently added what info I was "able to discover" concerning my Helm Family History. This information included William (father) and Henry (son) Helm. There are still "many unanswered questions" - concerning the Helms - but it is another step in the county's history - - - Thanks Gerry Lang

355 marriages were transcribed and submitted by C. Vogel, they are now on line under Marriages, these are misc marriages from her files. Thank you C. Vogel. Also completed and on the site is the 1919 Prairie Farmers Directory, some of the pages may be slow opening, there are over 300 pages. Tons of names and very interesting ads. This was scanned and submitted by Melissa Seaton. Thank you Melissa. There have been several obit cards submitted and I will be adding those plus right close to a thousand more soon. Just in the last couple of days there have been some wonderful data bases from churches and other things offered for the site, so stay tuned. If someone sends something for the site I am sorry if it takes a few days to get it on there. I will get it all on as quickly as possible. When submitting things for the site please remember to submit your name and or contact information so you will get full credit for your work. Thanks everyone we will soon have a topnotch site to research. Sharon
