This Inf. is from his son Harry Carpenter,? Hiram C. Carpenter born, June 12, 1856, Palma? Michigan (I didn't find a Palma? I did find a Palmer and a Palms also Palmya??) died, December 31, 1945 in Lane, Miami County, Kansas buried in Franklin County, Kansas. H. C. Carpenter married 1/23/1884 Mercer County Ill. Cora A. Tarr. daughter of Stephen Ford Tarr and Rosilla Allen Delano Tarr I found on 1880 New Boston Twp., Mercer County, Il. Census, Carpenter, Hiram M.W. Single 24 Farmhand, Michigan, NY. NY. I found Nathan M.Carpenter buried in Mercer County : Volume 8 Page 76 Mannon Cemetery, 72-77 Section Township New Boston 1880 Millersburg, Mercer, Illinois Source inf. Family History Library Film: 1254236 NA Film # T9-0236, page # 357C Carpenter Nathan 65, married M.W. Farmer. NY, NY NY Amanda 50, wife F. W.HouseKp. NY, NY, NY Nora 14, Dau F. W at home MI, NY,NY. Sarah L. 10 Dau. F. W. " " " " " Nellie 7 Dau F. W. " " IA. " " Does anyone Have any Information on this Family? and Does This Nathan Have a Son Named Hiram with this birth Inf.??? I need to make sure We are working with the correct Carpenters??? The inf I've been working with Had Hiram's Father as Griffin Carpenter and Mother Betsey Jones Carpenter??     2. I can help with the cemetery record: Nathan M. Carpenter April 11, 1818-Dec 18, 1895 - Co G 9 Mich Inf - Civil War Amanda Welch, his wife, July 8, 1831-March 12, 1902 Children of N. M. & A. Carpenter Nelson N. Aug 28, 1854-Jan 14 1874 Dorcas S May 7, 1859-Dec 28, 1873 I think somehwere I have a photo of the tombstone.     3. Mercer County List, I believe Nathan M. and Amanda Welch Carpenter to be My Greatgreat-grandparents. Anyone have information on this Carpenter Family? They are in Mercer County, New Boston Twp. IL. on the 1880 census, and Nathan is buried in Mannon Cemetery, in New Boston Twp. Amanda Welch Carpenter is buried in another Cemetery in Mercer County? I found Nathan and Amanda Carpenter on the 1860 Jackson County, Spring Arbor, Michigan census, and also the 1870 Buchanan County, Newton Twp., Iowa. Nathan M. and Amanda (Welch) Carpenter do have a son name Hiram Carpenter born in 1856, I found 7 children? for Nathan M. and Amanda (Welch) Carpenter? 1. Nathan N. Carpenter Aug.1854 MI.- Jan.14,1854, IL. 2. Hiram C. Carpenter June 12, 1856 MI - Dec31, 1945 KS. 3. Agnes Carpenter 1858, MI 4. Dorcus S. Carpenter May 7, 1859 MI.- Dec 28,1873 IL. 5.
