    3. Aaron A. Mapes and Elenor Evans was married in Mercer County on September 6th, 1848. In the "History of Mercer County - 1882", a Mr. Mapes and his wife were listed as part of a group that formed the United Brethren Society in Keithsburg. Could this be Aaron and Elenor? 1860 Census, Line 772: Ellen Mapes, born in Ohio, is 49 years old and listed as a "washwoman". Living with her in Keithsburg Township are; William - age 20, Amanda - age 14, Daniel Evans - age 18 and Viola Mapes - age 6. All were born in Ohio. 1870 Census, Line 221: Ellen Mapes is 58 years old in 1870. She lives in Keithsburg Township with her sons, William - age 30 and Vic - age 15. William was born in Ohio and Vic was born in Illinois. The record (Vol. A - page 80 - License 1606) shows Amanda Mapes married Marion Willis in Mercer County on April 1st,1862. Was Frank a middle name?
