Morris Peters (b) 1854 in: Pennsylvania 4. Ruth Peters (b) 1855 in: Pennsylvania Married to: Thaddeus McLaughlin (Mercer County, IL) 5. Phebe E. Peters (b) 1857 in: Pennsylvania Married to: Charles E. Ellsworth (Chicago, IL) (d) Greenfield, Indiana 6. I am told that he raised nursery stock (fruit trees). John Durbin PETERS was a butcher in Aledo, IL. I am interested in obtaining further information / connections to the PETERS family in Mercer County. I would also like to know if there are any city directories or publications that exist that may include any of the PETERS family members. Any info would be GREATLY appreciated. Rob, Don't know if this inf. helps but there were some Peters in Lawrence KS. Dora May Peters Oakes Born in Iowa? 1891 died in 10/5/1959, Lawrence Douglas County, KS. A brother, Harlow Peters, ? (married but had no Children) and their Mother lived in Law. KS Both also are buried in Lawrence, KS. Dora is my step-dads Mother, I don't remember anything else about them.
