Hi-- I hope someone on the list has access to any Mercer County death records or cemetery records. According to the Illinois Marriage Index, Thomas W. HILL married Mary CRANE in Mercer County on November 24, 1857. I believe Thomas was the son of Thomas HILL and wife, Matilda SHROPSHIRE, who lived in Rivoli Township. I don't know who were the parents of Mary CRANE. It's possible that they also lived in Rivoli Township. In the 1860 census Thomas W. HILL is living with his sister and her family in Fulton County. There is no listing for Mary in the household. Thomas married Henrietta Meddows in Fulton County in 1863. >From this I assume that Mary CRANE died between 1857 and 1860. I would really appreciate it if someone can tell me if there is a record of the death of Mary in Mercer County. Thank you for your help. RuthAnn
