He was born in March, 1831 in Indiana, and died June 5, 1913 in Genoa, Nebraska. It is known he married Isabelle H. Hays October 25, 1862 in Aldo, Mercer County, Illinois. She was born October 29, 1838 in Pennsylvania and died May 21, 1918 in Genoa, Nebraska. Their first child, James Omar Furby, was born March 12, 1866 in Mercer County, Illinois. Their second child, John A. Furby, was born September 4, 1866 in Mercer County, Illinois according to the Furby Family Bible. However, either the birth date for James or John must have been recorded incorrectly, they are too close together. Their third child, Stephen J. Furby, was born October 29, 1874 in Linden, Missouri, thus the family moved from Mercer County to Missouri sometime between 1866 and 1874. Any information would be sincerely appreciated.
