    3. I have a marriage license for one of my ancestors who was married on November 21, 1894. He were married by a minister of the PM Church by J. C. Trenery in Mercer County. Can anyone tell me the full name of the PM church? Thank you for any help. Jane in Florida

    3. Jane That would be the Preemption Methodist, now known as the United Methodist Church of Preemption. Organized in 1839, members met in homes until a building was constructed. I am not able to connect Rev. J.C. Trenery to the church.
