This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Boney, Wakeland, Wilson, Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/hg.2ADI/642 Message Board Post: Can anyone help me identify grammar schools, that would have existed in period of 1925 to 1930?? My mother was born either 1920 or 21 in Duncan township to Martha Jane (Mattie/Matty) Boney. Have good information that her father was Joseph Wakeland (via his son Joseph and Aunt Lois Gridley Wakeland). Need to prove her actual birthdate. Martha lived near Buffalo Prairie on the Armstrong Boney farm, when she was born. The Boneys do not appear in 1930 census::: but by then Martha was 'supposedly' married to Thomas C. Wilson. Marriage cert. has been altered, so have prob. with date, etc. Any help in schools would be appreciated, as Mom states she DID go to school in Duncan township. Thank you Bev.
Bev You don't give us your mother's name! If we have that, perhaps we can help.
