Hi, Does anyone have access to death index for 1897? My gggrandfather lived in Mclean Co. for a short time and we believe he must have died there. He followed his sister Mary James Compher Brunney there. He was brought back to Ohio and burried in Ross. Co. so I do have his date of death as: June 29, 1897. No death certificate exists in Ross Co. My cousins said Mary who was his grandma told him William died in Illinois. Can anyone help please? Thanks Valerie
