I apologize for not giving dates. Margaret Ann Shattler b. Apr 17, 1845 in Springfield, OH and John W. Wells b. Feb 10, 1844 were marriedFeb 10, 1866. John was the first Cooksville postmaster and he died Nov 21, 1930 in Cooksville. Margaret died Oct 1, 1909. They are buried at Blu Mound Cemetery. A transcription of Margaret's obit states: dua. Mrs. Mary Zable, Alice Weber, Ann Strange, Nell Jones all of Cooksville, Also Mrs. Ella Parr of Colorado and Mrs. Lucy Jones of Bloomington. They had six boys but I don't think they were living.
