Hello, I'm new to the list. I know that the PAUL family lived in McLean County for many years before my grandfather, John Henry Paul came to Missouri. I don't know much about the PAULS and would be interested in any information at all that another researcher would be willing to share. Here is what I have: JOHN PAUL was born Bef. 1795, and died in Lexington, IL. He married NANCY JOHNSON 1810 in Cabell City, Greenbrier County, West Virginia, daughter of NIMROD JOHNSON. She was born Bef. 1795. Children of JOHN PAUL and NANCY JOHNSON are: PERNINA PAUL, b. Aft. 1810. ROBERT PAUL, b. Aft. 1810. THOMAS PAUL, b. Aft. 1810. JAMES HUGH PAUL, b. 15 May 1821, Fayette County, Ohio; d. 19 June 1862, Madison County, IL. m. Nancy Campbell Gilliam - (children include my grandfather John Henry Paul) NIMROD PAUL, b. Bef. 1826; m.
