I may have asked you folks in Mclean County this question before. Since a lot of you have ancestors buried in Long Point, does anyone know if Sugar Grove Cemetery and Wapella Cemetery are, in fact, Long Point. My late mother showed several of my brothers where her parents and grandparents were buried. They are buried together in Long Point with 6" x 6" concrete posts. However, my gr-grandfather and gr-grandmother's obit says one was buried in Sugar Grove, and the other in Wapella Cemetery. I have written to Camille Redmon, who I was told was the lady in charge of cemeteries for Town of Wapella. I even tried to call her long distance. Have had no reply. Would like to put small headstones at my ancestors gravesite, but need proof that they are there, i.e., plot card or map. This is driving me crazy. I don't know what avenue to take next to find a plot map or card. I guess I could write to the Town Council. Answered my own question! Thanks, Shari
