I am seeking information on the Jacob SAKEMILLER family from Hudson Twp, McLean County, Illinois. Jacob SAKEMILLER was born abt 1854 in Trenton, Butler Co. Ohio. He married Anna GASSON (born 29 May 1857 in Darke Co Ohio) about 1876, probably in Miami Twp. Montgomery County, Ohio, and they had 5 (known)children: 1. Elizabeth M. born 1876 in Trenton, Butler Co Ohio 2. Mary C. born 1877 in Miami Twp. Montgomery Co Ohio 3. Charles 4. Jacob 5. Jennie Mae born 10 May 1883 died 15 Dec 1958 (Buried in San Pedro, Los Angeles, Calif.) Jenne married Irwin Salzman on 2 May 1901 in Hudson, McLean Co Illinois. I followed this family to the 1880 Census in Montgomery Co Ohio. Supposedly, after the death of Anna (Gasson) Sakemiller, Jacob moved with the children to Hudson, McLean Co Illinois. (I just recently discovered where the family moved after leaving Ohio). I am researching the surname GASSON and would love to have the information on this family to complete the line.
