I am looking for information of these families who came to McLean Co about 1830 George King Thompson came from Va and Ohio with his wife Anstis. Their son Franklin was born in VA in 1826 , a daughter Mary was born in Ohio in 1827 and a son William also in Ohio in 1829. Elizabeth was born in McLean Co, Il in 1832. George King Thompson died in McLean Co about 1833 and his wife Anstis married Matthew Coverdale in 1835 in McLean Co. Franklin, the eldest son, married Sarah Elizabeth French in 1846 and had two sons Charles and William in McLean Co. before moving to Iowa. The French family is said to have come to Illinois from Ohio about the same time. At least they were there in 1846 when Franklin and Sarah Elzabeth were married. Does any of this ring a bell with anyone out there. I would love to fill in details about this family and can share information about Franklin and Sarah Elizabeth's descendants.
