Dear Valerie, I am assuming you are talking about a request from Illinois Regional Archive Depository. I have written out my requests every time and have always received the documents (and sometimes more than I asked for) if I'm patient. The volunteers are wonderful, but very busy. I'm sure you can hand write it, just remember to put the county of request. (I forgot once....how dumb!)
