    2. To Don Schott: I got my great-grandparents 1872 marriage record from IRAD at Illinois State University. I have also gotten records from the McLean County Clerk, but they would charge at least $7.00. IRAD is usually very prompt. The address is under http://www.sos.state.il.us/departments/archives/archives.html . Just for Ill. Regional Archives, then find the address for Illinois State University. Good luck

    3. Does IRAD have a copy of the register, or do they just have the marriage record. From reading these postings, the register has more information. The copy of the marriage that I got from IRAD for my ancestors told me nothing that I did not already know. If the register has more information, that is what I would like to see. May I assume that I would have to write to the County Court house to get a copy of the register and the marriage record? One more question. Is this true just for MClean Co or does it apply to all Iliniois counties ? Thanks to all the listers who so kindly help! Kathy looking for DART in McLean. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 14, 2001 6:59 AM Subject: Re: Marriage applications > To Don Schott: > > I got my great-grandparents 1872 marriage record from IRAD at Illinois State > University.
