Anyone who might know this family, J. MC CRUM who farmed in McLean County, Mount Hope Township from prior to 1870 and who is still on the 1895 map, I'd be interested in learning more. His wife was Mary Larissa SIPE, who was the daughter of David K SIPE and Susan Jane YEAKEL. They were married in 1882 in McLean County. Also on the 1895 Mount Hope Map was S MC CRUM. The McCrum's and Yeakel's came from Rockingham County, VA about 1854. In 1903 S McCRUM went to Fort Scott, KS with his family. Susan Jane YEAKEL's sister was Ann YEAKEL, who married Daniel GARDNER.
