Another YEAKEL was Ann Yeakel who married William C. MILLER in Rockingham County, VA. in 1834. William C. Miller was the son of Alexander MILLER and Sarah CRAWFORD of VA. The MILLER family settled in Danvers Township, McLean County, about 1850. Their children were Levi, b 1824, Samuel b 1826, James W, b 1827, John, b 1829, Susan Jane b 1830, married John MICKENS, Margaret b 1834, married George W. WHISLER, Peyton b 1835, married Eliza HODGE, and Mary b 1836, married James MICKENS. James Miller who came to this area in 1835, was an older brother of William C MILLER. Would love to have more information on this family...I see in the Rockingham Co., newsletter, a book is available on "Descendants of Rev.
