I am looking for information on the old Soldiers & Sailors Orphanage that was once located in Normal, McLean County, IL. My grandmother Mollie SANDERS George was sent there with one of her sisters in around 1904. Her father had died and her mother could not take care of all the children. She lived there for just a few years but I'm not sure of when she was there or how long. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
