Hi, Leslie - Perhaps you could check your book for any Palmers. The family I am looking for is John Palmer and his wife R.V. Stedman. They came from virginia to Adams Co., Ohio, where their children were born: George Washington Palmer and Tacy Elizabeth Palmer and possibly others. The family moved to McLean Co., IL. I don't know when. Tacy Elizabeth Palmer (b. 18 Sep 1845, d. 06 Sep 1920) was married to George Allen Brown in Mclean Co. on 12/02/1875, and her son Ross Brown was born in Lexington, McLean Co., in 1882. Tacy, George and infant Ross Brown (my grandfather) then moved to Fillmore Co., NE. Thanks for checking for Palmers.
