I'm hoping to find more information about the wife and parents of Patrick Brown, born 1828-29 in Ireland (probably County Limerick). In 1880 he was a widowed farmer living in Bellflower, McLean, Illinois with his mother, Hannah Brown, age 74, and a large family. His children were: John, Mary A., David, Sarah J., James, Elizabeth, Emily, and Hannah. The first five children were born in Ohio; the last three in Illinois, putting Patrick in Bellflower probably in about 1866. Besides his own eight children he was caring for three nephews: William Brown, and James and George Roach. If any of this sounds familiar or if you can suggest a good starting place for this research, I'd be very pleased to hear from you. Kathleen
