Hi Folks, I recently signed on to your list for the purpose of trying to find any information on my great grandfather Peter Klein. I have long looked for any information about him but have turned up very little. All I know of him is: 1. He appears in the 1880 Federal Census for Randolph County Missouri under the name Kline along with his wife, Theresa Koos, his two children and his mother, Elizabeth. 2. He married Theresa Koos in Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois on 21 August 1870. Thanks to Greg Koos, I have fairly extensive records of the Koos family but nothing more on Peter Klein. 3. The McLean County Circuit Court Clerk has naturalization records on a Peter Klein dated in 1870 and 1872 which I have ordered from the Clerk. 4. I know he immigrated from Prussia but I do not know when, what ship, what port left from or arrived at, etc. I do not have a date of death or burial. My Klein family did not know anything of the origin of the family. I know this is pitifully little information after years of searching but that is all I have ever been able to find. I am requesting any information that anyone may have on this Peter Klein. I would be willing to pay a researcher the necessary fees if there is any chance of finding more. Thanks!
