I just found the obit for my g-grandmother's half-sister, Stella Johnson Masker, who died at 105. Her obituary states she attended the 3rd Ward School in Bloomington (probably around 1895). Does anyone know what type of school this was? Was it a public school or private? Just curious. Thanks - Carla Leber
