Lesley, I checked for members of the Deadmore family in the resources that I have available/can manage with no positive results. City Directories--They did not have the year 1900 at either library but they did have several years before and after and I found no sign. The city directories have been quite reliable in the past. Usually the people that I have checked for who resided in Bloomington have been there. Cemetery Records--I checked the cemetery listings at the historical museum library and again found nothing. I don't believe that the Bloomington books are complete, as I have found people missing on lookups before. I did call the one cemetery (Evergreen/Old City) in Bloomington that would have been a very good possibility for a resident of Bloomington to be buried and they have no record of Deadmore's buried there. If you haven't already done so, you might consider ordering a search for a death certificate and see if anyone shows up that would give you more specific information. If you have a small range of years they can check for you at the county clerk's office--death records circa 1900 were standard and should be quite reliable. Vital record look-ups are not an option here in McLean County. Sorry no positive news turned up.
