Thanks again, Zoelatta. I will try the Bloomington-Normal Genealogical Societies. I think I may have found my grandfather, William Williamson, living with his brothers, James and John, in Adams County. He was 15 at the time which makes him born in 1865 instead of 1860. And they only knew the place of birth of their mother, IRE. Nothing on their dad. That is the info mom always gave me, so I think I am really starting to get somewhere. I found many of the Williamsons/Reynolds not in any 1880 census. But found that many people born in USA migrated to Canada during that time frame. Found several Williamsons and Reynolds in the 1881 LDS Canada census. They must have moved there during gold rush days, or logging, then came back. Now I just have to figure out how to download the census. Having trouble with it. Thanks again for the info. Shari
