The mausoleum at the Brookside Cemetery in Mazon will be demolished in June due to deterioration and lack of funds to restore/rebuild it. The Morris Daily Herald is seeking assistance in finding descendants of those interred since there are no known descendants in this area. Among those interred are two Civil War veterans, two Civil War widows, and the wife (Hannah) of William Cash, who died in the Andersonville prison camp in 1864.
