Sorry guys, I had a small catastrophe the other night. I was getting up to gather up the books and spilled pop all over my key board....errrrr. Stopped and picked up a new one after work today. What I was going to put on e-bay are cemetery books from Mclean Co. I just bought them a month or 2 ago, and got what info I needed. I can't see having them sit around gathering dust when someone else could use them. I just would like to get what I payed for them. All the books have paper covers, and are pretty worn, but everything is easy and clear to read. They were originally used in the library, and have the normal library type stickers on them. These aren't indexes. I'm not positive if they were transcribed from records or the headstones, but either way they give you the full information, name, dates, (and other info here and their). ------------------------------------------------------Examples: BADDELEY - Family line of John W & Eliza (Cheney) son: John Cheney -- Jan 22,1817- March 26, 1895 born near Gopthorn, Co of Cheshire, England h/w - Joanna (Karr) March 26, 1819 - Feb 26,1844 m. Civil War - Killed in Action near Jonesville, Va. ------------------------------------------------------ Others are less elaborate, with just name and dates, so don't be under the impression all listings contain so much info. Here are the books... ------------------------------------------------------ *Holy Cross Cemetery* Normal Township Volume 17 - by the Bloomington-Normal Genealogical Society, 1988 -- 46 pages ------------------------------------------------------ *Oak Grove Cemetery* Empire township (2 books) Vol 2-1 (A-M 129 pg), 2-2, (M-Z 103 pgs) --a few of the last pages might be missing from one of the books, because it only goes up to W..(?) by Mclean Co Genealogical Society (keep together) ------------------------------------------------------ Empire Township Vol 2-3 contains *Old Oak Grove Cemetery* - *Gilmore Cemetery* - and *Howard Cemetery* (69pgs) by the Mclean Co Genealogical Society. ------------------------------------------------------ St Marys Cemetery Bloomington Township (3books) Vol 14-1 (A-Ha 105pg) 14-2 (He-O 100pg) 14-3 (P-Z 78pg) This one is missing pages in the back, because it stops on the surname Sheehan. By the Bloomington-Normal Genealogical Society (keep together) ------------------------------------------------------ Danvers Township *Park Lawn Cemetery* Vol 11-1 (67pg) By the Bloomington-Normal Genealogical Society ------------------------------------------------------ Danvers Township Vol 11-2 Contains *North Danvers Mennonite Cemetery* - *Stouts Grove Cemetery* - *Mitchell Cemetery* - *Hinshaw Cemetery* - *Imhoff Cemetery* - *Maurer Cemetery* (80pgs) By the Bloomington-Normal Genealogical Society ------------------------------------------------------ (the ones noted have to stay together) If anything looks interesting, let me know. I'll dig out my invoice to see what I payed,..most were in the $20 range (steep, but the info was worth it...) Again sorry I didnt post right back, but I didnt really have a choice in the matter. debs
