    3. Faith, I am going to send you what I have gathered thus far on the Cunningham family. Perhaps you will see some clue within the documents that I am missing. I will give the Mathis family another shot when I get back to the library. I did see some references to various Mathews when I was checking, but nothing with any regularity that made me expect a connection to your family. From what I gather from your communications, you are expecting the Mathis spelling to be the more predominant? It does seem unusual that with all of those kids there isn't another researcher but I am in a similar situation with one of my families. Three cousins on one line with a few siblings and none but me on the line that had a whole house full! I'll try to get this out in the mail this week. I'm not certain when I'll get back to the library--at the moment my various children have croupe, tonsillitis, and a fever spiking to 104.3 (sigh).
