Carol, The MAXWELL's you mention (John and Jane) are in my tree too. I do not have a William listed, but I also know that I haven't done much searching for this line. Could you tell me what your sources are for his birth to Jane and John? I have a respectable amount of info on this line if anyone is interested. Her Mother Elizabeth Evans (d/o William Evans and Effie Winebrinner) married first Abram Hobbs, June 25, 1827 and second William Maxwell, son of John and Jane (Brazelton) Maxwell, April 9, 1829. My ggg grandmother Martha (Dobson ) Day married Leodicy's grandfather William Evans in 1840, Bloomington IL. Martha was his second wife. His first wife Effie died in 1839 at Bloomington. I don't have much information on that line other than that. Does anyone know if they had a daughter Leodicy? Abram must have died, because Elizabeth married William MAXWELL in April, 1829. I just don't know if Leodicy's father was Hobbs or Maxwell. She seems to have married a Henry DICKERSON before 1850, and had a daughter Jane E., 6 mo. old, in that census. Would like some help straightening out the family line.
