Dear Rooters, Still looking for any trace of Sallie COLLIER ALLEN, b 17 Dec 1890 in Petersburg, Menard County, Illinois (via D A R National number 279626), daughter of Charles Reeve COLLIER and Laura Louise ESTILL, married Hiram Jay ALLEN. Last and only record, resided at 318 North Street, Normal, Illinois on 19 Nov. 1941, the date of her DAR application was received in Washington. Her application was signed by (Mrs. J C) Margaret N McNutt, Chapter Registrar. She claimed my ggggf Joseph Collier as her ancestor. Her application cited a family bible and other papers. Oh, would I love to get my hands on that bible and those papers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TIA Mac
