Tim-- The Illinois Newspaper Project maintains a database of old Illinois newspapers. There seem to be a couple for Chenoa, the Clipper and the Gazette, in the time frame you are interested in. You need to contact the library holding the copies directly--in this case, the Illinois State Historical Library. Newspaper project address: http://www.library.uiuc.edu/techserv/inp/webpages/main.htm (Click on "INP Newspaper database" and enter "Chenoa" for the town and Illinois for the state in the search fields to see a full listing of the holdings for Chenoa.) State Historical Library address: http://www.state.il.us/hpa/lib/ I believe their microfilms are available through inter-library loan. I haven't tried borrowing microfilms yet, but I have found them to be very helpful in other cases when I dealt with them. I think they can do limited lookups for a fee. Good luck!
