    1. [ILMCLEAN-L] Cynthia: Lookup
    2. shari & chuck horton
    3. Thanks for your reply Cynthia. The address was 508 W. Olive St, Bloomington. Don't know if it is still there. I am beginning to think that Grandpa Williamson was not a working man. He may have been sick quite often. I hope the place is still there. It would be nice to visit it someday, and I could get a picture. If you do go, please get back with me, as I need to find out particulars from you. By the way, I believe William's mother was Mrs. Anna Williamson. Think she was Irish. Don't know his father. shari sharuck@islc.net

    3. If someone is going to be going to the Bloomington Public Library in the near future, could you lookup two obituaries for me? I will be happy to pay for copies and your research. The obituaries I am desperately seeking are for William A. Williamson, born Alton, IL. Sept 15, 1860. William died Jan. 20, 1919. His wife was Sarah Elizabeth Reynolds Williamson. Children were Effie E., Ollie (deceased), George, Dewey, Helen, Eunice, and Roy. He died in Bloomington. I think he lived on Olive St at the time. His death occurred in St. Joseph Hospital. Sarah Elizabeth Reynolds Williamson, born in Robinson, IL, Crawford Co. 1870 (July 24?). Sarah died March 2, 1922 in Bloomington. Sarah was the daughter of James D and Isabella Reynolds. Please e-mail me personally at sharuck@islc.net Thanks, Shari

    2. Judy Laros
    3. I've been gone for a while so I thought I would resend my McLean family lines to the list. Briefly, Elias C SUMMERS married Mary J PAUGH August 7, 1859. She died in 1872 in Anchor Twp, McLean Co. Their children were Harry J SUMMERS (1862-?) Clara Charlotte SUMMERS (1866-1948)who married James W TANNER, & Charlie A SUMMERS (1868-?) who married Alice WARD in 1891. Elias C SUMMERS remarried Maggie PERRY in 1874. Anyone have any tie-ins to these? Thanks, Judy

    1. [ILMCLEAN-L] Fairview Cemetery

    3. I'm very excited. Muriel Martens Hoffman has recently written another book with the help of Dennis Hieronymus. It is entitled "Potosi - a Ghost Town and the Fairview Community." In it she has recorded all the graves in the old Fairview Cemetery which is located in Belle Prairie Township, Livingston County, Illinois. (This is just across the line of eastern McLean County) I have, with her permission, put this data online. Maybe some of you who can't find your ancestors burial in McLean County will be able to find them here. (Marianne....there are a lot of Bennetts!!) Here's the address. Hope it helps someone! http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~henline/potosi/chapter9.html Pam Haithcock

    2. shari & chuck horton
    3. Recently I requested the Dean Obituary. Thanks to many of you Igot it. I wrote to his widow, Hazel Provin Reynolds, around Christmas, with my condolences. Since getting the obituary, I read that Hazel lives in Joilet, but they had a daughter, Edith Hoog. She still lives in Bloomington. She may be living at Dean and Hazel's old addresss on East Lincoln St., Bloomington. Is there someone out there who can look in the telephone book to see what Edith Hoog's address is? I do not know if she is married. I have written two letters to East Lincoln Street, but no reply and no return letters as of today. I think Hazel may be in a residential care facility in Joilet as Dean was 92 when he passed. Thanks a lot!! Shari

    3. I just got a real computer instead of just my webtv. So now I'm able to purchase disks, and have excess to sites that I couldn't get into before. I've never looked into it, (since it wasn't an option) but do libraries have disks (such as census records) that you can check out? debs

    3. Due to having to shut down my computer rapidly (Malfunction with our server), I sent my SID #'s 6 through 10 to somewhere in cyberspace. All I know is they left my computer completely. Sorry if anyone got them as they had attachments. I got a return mail stating that whatever I sent had attachments, and would not be accepted. Tammy, if you are out there. this was not my fault. I know I am driving you crazy over this census!!! I am going through the Allin Township 1920 Mclean Co census. Incorporated Town of Stanford. I finally got the hang of it. Actually, the format is pretty easy to use. You just have to do a lot of moving and clicking the cursor. Have a great day, Shari

I'm looking for a Solomon Harrison b. approx. 1807 and died sometime after 1870 but before 1887, I think in Bloomington. Was married to a Matilda Bewely who died in 1861 then a Catharine Johnson who died a widow in 1887. Thanks for any help with this brick wall. Melody in NY

    3. Does anyone know how I can get in touch with the Sugar Grove Cemetery Association? Sugar Grove is in DeWitt County. I have sent a posting to that site, also. 3. Thanks, Ray in Denver, and to all those who sent me the obituary info on Dean Reynolds. I also found out that I can send a check to the Pantagraph Library for $5.00 for a print out from their database. I did not want to charge $2.50 to my credit card. I contacted the Pantagraph Library. Thanks again to all those who replied so promptly. Shari
