The Fort doesn't have an email address. You don't have to send a SASE but they appreciate donations. It is all volunteer and donations are needed. Sorry, forgot to ask if The Fort has an e-mail address, and if I write them should I send a SASE? debs
"The Fort" has quite a few indexes from the funeral homes. If you write or call they will look them up for you. Send as much information as you have and they will look for other things too. I don't know what is kept at "The Fort" that has been mentioned. But I'm looking for funeral home info. I've never tried to go through a funeral home for info so I don't know if it's possible. In my gr-gr Grandmothers obit, they say the funeral home, but not the cemetery. I also have her death cert. and the cemetery isn't on it either. I'm looking to see if her husband is next to he. I have no info on him, except his name and that he was wounded in the Civil War. debs

This is a test message to see if I can get through to the McLean County, Illinois list site.
I don't know what years all of you are looking for when you roll call your names, but as I was browsing through the Indiana online censuses, I noticed a lot of surnames that some of you are looking for. Most of the censuses are indexed and ACP Standard. very easy reading. A lot of the names, especially 1850's came from NY, MD, PA, VA, ENG, IRE, KY, OH, IN, NC, ND.as well as other places. It is worth a try!!!! Shari
