The address for the courthouse is 2200 N Seminary Ave Woodstock,IL 60098 If you are going there, Seminary Ave is actually IL Rt 47. It is just called Seminary in town. As far as the historical society, I will have to get back to you on that. I know that is in Union and is off of Union Rd (imagine that! LOL!). There are several libraries in the county and I think the best one so far is the Woodstock Library. It has a variety of resources. The library in McHenry is good too but I have not been there in awhile and don't recall all that they have. I have not been to the other libraries in the county. I know that the Woodstock library has books listing who is buried at what cemetery and I would be happy to look it up for you but with the weather that we are having here (McHenry County) I cannot guarantee when I can get there (I don't like driving in the snow etc!)
