Just in case you haven't, I have a great uncle, George Smith, b. 27 Mar 1832. If this is your George, he was the 7th child of Abigal (Langdell) and Lemuel Hawley Smith. My great grandmother, Ellen Maria, was their 12th and last child. Ellen died in 1935 in Clifton, Il. She had 10 children--5 boys and 5 girls. I hope this information has been of help to you. Donna
