Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Zg.2ADI/787 Message Board Post: I am looking for information about William Pentony, born Abt. 1826, his wife, Elizabeth Gannon, born Abt. 1828, and their first child, Mary Jane, born 1851 in NY. They were from County Meath, Ireland--William from Rathnally and Elizabeth from Trim. They married in NY shortly after arriving in the US. To date, I have been unable to find the names of William's parents, or the names of all of his siblings. He had a brother, John, born Abt. 1820, who went to England, and a couple of sisters. Elizabeth Gannon was the daughter of Patrick Gannon, born Abt. 1789, and Mary Carr, born Abt. 1800, both in Trim. The family was in Woodstock, IL until 1864 when they went to IA.
